Leather - What Happens To It

Sporting Leather - Saddlery, Motorcycle Leathers, Walking Boots etc

When your leather gets wet ,your leather acts as like a sponge. It absorbs water and expels it in dry conditions. The fibres under the hide expand and contract. It is when the water has evaporated naturally and the leather is dry, it needs conditioning and feeding.

USING RACE LEATHER WAX regularly will act as a natural barrier and waterproofer. Work well into the leather, leave to dry and buff up with a cloth or soft brush for boots. This product will help to protect and preserve both the leather and stitching.

Leather Upholstery

Leather upholstery can suffer from clothing dye transfer, staining from pens and markers, alcohol spillages and sweat marks from hand and hair products.

Using Supplehide Lotion or Conditioner Spray regularly will act as a natural barrier and helps to prevent these stains from becoming ingrained. These products will help to protect and preserve both the leather and stitching.
